Construction began in November 2000, following the demolition of the New York Coliseum. The Center opened in 2003
The Time Warner Center includes offices (notably the offices of Time Warner Inc.) residential apartments, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, an upscale shopping mall, restaurants, the 1,200 seat Jazz at Lincoln Center concert hall, and CNN studios
